The Honda Dio is the India's first motoscooter introduced in 2001 along with the Activa. The name is derived from the son of Venus 'dyonisiac'. The scooter possesses the typical Honda NH series engine. Manufactured and assembled in India by Honda's HMSI subsidiary, the Dio is also exported to UK as Honda Lead.
Dio deluxe
The upgraded version of the Dio came in 2007 as Dio Deluxe. The change was in the color pattern and graphics of the body.
Common Modification
In India, the Honda Dio is the most modified motoscooter by collegians. The common modifications include changing the Air filter, Combustion chamber, graphics and accessories.
